Bamboo – most of us don't think about it on a daily basis, or hey even a monthly basis but we really should. When we cut down a tree it can take over twenty years to grow back to it's original size...bamboo grows back to it's original size [or bigger] in only 59 days. Whoa! It also has natural antibacterial fighting agents, and moisturizers to protect our skin making it one of the most eco-friendly materials being used today.
Knowing that bamboo is such an awesome product, why not start to make the switch? Things like bamboo bath towels are being introduced to our market and they outshine our old, boring cotton towels. They are durable [bamboo is one of the toughest materials out there] but at the same time incredibly soft. Start making the switch to bamboo slowly [one towel anyone?] and work your way up. If we can stop relying on trees and other materials that don't grow as fast as bamboo, why shouldn't we?
